ELDER GIDEON
Elder Gideon, MFA, is an artist, writer, teacher, and faith leader solely concerned with biblical schemata. Trained in Florence, Italy, and Northern California in classical and contemporary art disciplines, he negotiates many mediums for church and private patrons in the U.S. and abroad. The drawings chosen by Solum Press are studies for a traveling installation called "Qarban | Offering," illustrating his fourth poetry manuscript. His first poetry collection Aegis of Waves will be published this year by Atmosphere Press.
He's currently reorganizing Sophia Guild, a sacred arts collective, which seeks edifying collaborations for the people and land. Please inquire!
