what disables me

Her voice chimes, Well, are you your brother’s keeper?

Okay, I’ve spilt blood when things get out of hand

though I try to dismiss Her as scold, a meddler.

Her voice chimes, Aren’t you your brother’s keeper?

So, I offer a few coins. Slipping deeper,

I can feel the universe shrivel to clan.

Her voice chimes, Are you no brother’s keeper?

But I swear, Not my blood, when things get out of hand.
